Approximately 3 years ago, my then 9 year old grandson J.T. Hoopaugh was allowed by Coach Richt to attend UGA football practice. He had underwent surgery on both his legs at the Shriner's Hospital in Greenville S.C. due to cerebral palsy, at which time he had his right femur bone and left tibia bone cut, straightened and pins and plates inserted. He didn't want to do therapy because it was painful and I sent a request for some Georgia player to take 5 minutes to talk to him about the therapy to make him understand he needed that. Coach Dooley and Coach Richt made arrangements for J.T. to attend practice and we were there for 3 hours. Afterwards, you along with Coach Richt took time to have a picture made with J.T., at which time you removed his walker and held his waist for the photo. He had on his 47 jersey and also had his helmet. You wrote a Bible verse on his helmet, Proverbs 3 Verse 5 & 6. I will never forget what you did that day for my grandson. You are truly a blessing from God. Our family wishes you and your wife the very best in life. May God Always Bless and Keep You and Your Family Safe.
