About

This project started when I heard a soon to-be Super Bowl winning coach witness his faith on national TV. Tony Dungy had just completed an amazing comeback leading his Indianapolis Colts to the Super Bowl.

On the same day, Dungy’s friend, Lovie Smith – also a Christian, lead his Chicago Bears to a Super Bowl appearance. The week following the media focused on the fact that the game was being coached by two African-American coaches. Tony Dungy, with the Indianapolis Colts, and Lovie Smith, with the Chicago Bears. Both coaches were born-again Christians who would rather praise God than talk about their skin color. When the clock read zero, the Indianapolis Colts were champions. Both coaches used the spotlight to honor God.

It was then that I decided to create this blog to honor those that honor God in a public forum. Whether they are professional athletes, coaches, movie stars, actors/actresses, or politicians. They are someone who uses their celebrity status to witness.

This site is two parts. One part will be listing those celebrities that are Christians. The second part is posting videos and articles of those Christians in action.

Thanks for reading. God bless!

Hey my name is Jenise and I am an up and coming singer. I came across your site and I think that it is really unique. It’s very inspiring to know that there are so many celebrities that are believers and following Christ. I think this is something that the youth of today need to see more of. There is also a woman by the name of Katrina Walters that I think would be a great addition to your site. She is the founder of the hottest new boxing website HeavyHitter.org, but more importantly she is a born again, Holy Ghost Filled, woman of God. She is progressing everyday as one of boxing’s “Go To” media personality. I think she would definitely be a prominent addition to your site. God bless in your endeavors! Continue to spread the Good news.
    God Bless,
    Love Jenise LaVone

Curt, I’m enjoying reading through your blog. I too am interested in who among today’s heroes on the field are believers in Christ.

Thanks for finding the articles that can be an encouragement to many of us that share a passion for Jesus and a love for sport.

Let’s be sure to pray for these celebs that are in the spotlight, that their witness would be strong and that the Christians will give them grace when they stumble in the public eye.
